The poison of radical Islam, Cameron begins to wake up?

Our Dave wants to defeat the poison of radical Islam, jolly good eh? Well, no, he still defends state funded faith schools. His use of the word poison, copies Blair, his hero, who has used the word poison in the same context many times since 2010. Yet, despite agreeing on the word, neither Blair nor Cameraman have the slightest clue about the nature of so-called radical Islam.

Cameraman’s Birmingham speech on the 21st July was welcome, but several years too late. He announced some short-term measures, but he dared not face, what needs to be done to address the problem.

He missed the reason that so many British educated, intelligent, Muslim young men and women have become radicalised.

I argue that the word radicalised misses the point entirely, and has led Dave, and many others, down the wrong path in search of a solution. He has not yet understood why so many young Muslims are ready to fight in Syria for Islamic State. He has not yet understood how their mind-set was so warped away from that of their parents, most of whom are as clueless as is our Dave.

He said, in his speech, “They start with intolerant views towards democracy, freedom of expression and sexual equality. If this is not challenged they often gravitate to even more extreme views.”

Radical preacher Anjem Choudary has claimed that all Muslim MPs and voters are 'apostates'
Radical preacher Anjem Choudary has claimed that all Muslim MPs and voters are ‘apostates’. This evil deluded monster walks the streets of Britain subsidised by our welfare system.

But, he did not, or dare not, explain that the source of that very intolerance is the Qur’an itself. The Qur’an is aided and abetted by Hadith(s) (supplementary instructions issued long after the original manual). Democracy is an alien concept to Islam. Muslims must instead submit to the will of Allah, as directed by the Qur’an and follow Sharia, Islamic law. Sharia only applies to Muslims, so it should follow that it can only be implemented in an Islamic state.

Indeed, it is arguable that Sharia is not actually Islamic in the first place. The word is mentioned in the Qur’an, three times, but in a completely different context. Sharia, or Islamic law, is based on older Jewish law and was written some 200 years later than the Qur’an itself. Anyway, I could be paddling up an intellectual creek here because so many Islamic scholars disagree with each other on this point, and who am I to offer help? 😉

(Ed: Ooh stop, it hurts!)

Britain however, is subject to the Rule of Law. One legal system to which all citizens, of whatever religion (or none), are accountable. Aristotle said this more than two thousand years ago, “The rule of law is better than that of any individual.”

Our politicians have pandered to Muslim sensitivities. They have mistakenly allowed Sharia courts to rule on “family matters” for example. This thin end of the wedge stupidity, has all but destroyed the last 1,000 years of western philosophical and legal development. Cultural differences have been allowed to fester into the divisions we see today. For example, the political corruption exposed in Tower Hamlets last month and postal voting corruption in Birmingham, Bradford etc.

ISIS (AKA ISIL or Da’ish) are just implementing the bits of the Qur’an that moderate Muslims had started to ignore. Just read a little of the Qur’an and you will soon see what I mean.

So then, you may ask, just how do we stop young minds becoming so warped?

All religions rely on child minds being in awe of something that is apparently bigger and more powerful than them. Better still if this power is invisible, how can you challenge that eh? Once this awe is instilled in a child’s mind, it becomes very difficult to remove in later life. This innate awe is enthusiastically used by those who radicalise disaffected young minds and by all religions, eager for new followers.

Dickens
Dickens was quite correct then, but times have changed, even he could not see the rise of Mohammedanism (as it was then called)

Roman Catholics in Northern Ireland have found it almost impossible to accept that their Popes have silently covered up the sexual deviance of their priesthood for centuries. Only now when the evidence is overwhelming, have many Catholics found the strength to see the inherent evils in Roman Catholicism. Many still cannot accept the truth, and remain in awe of the Vatican’s clever use of art, music and pomp to hide its innate delusions. Charles Dickens clearly saw what Catholicism was, even if he was somewhat open to criticism in his own personal life.

Faith schools are therefore the source of the problem. The very idea of faith being taught as a valid and laudable path for young human minds to follow is warped. This thinking was exposed, by European Enlightenment philosophers, in the 17th & 18th centuries. They called for reason to replace faith. Notable amongst those thinkers was John Locke who advocated that religion must occupy the private sphere of life in order for the many different faiths to co-exist peacefully.

There are many contributing factors to radicalisation of course;

  • US / UK foreign policy in Iraq;
  • the Qur’an, seen by Muslims as the unalterable word of god;
  • Muslims must live under Sharia, Islamic law
  • Saudi funding for Madrassas in the UK;
  • misguided support for primitive cultural practices by politicians hungry for votes, in the name multiculturalism;
  • government’s fear of violent reprisals from minority communities;

Those are the starting points for the radicalisation process of those already affected by the awe of the faith virus. The rest follows on quite logically from that!

Yes, our democracy is flawed, but all other methods of political control are considerably worse (echoing the words of Winston Churchill). Humans will probably get there eventually, but not while religious groups all compete for separate privileges in the public sphere. One law, applicable to all please!

Free bus passes for Faith schools? Primitive halal and kosher practices being allowed to bypass the law because of religious exemption? Time off to pray? Bah, Poo & Piffle says I.

Come on Dave, get moving!

Meanwhile, more and more faith schools are created each year (200 more planned currently) to preach their message of otherness, difference and division thereby sowing the seeds of societal destruction that today’s young disaffected Muslims’ parents came here to escape. The irony is that the Birmingham schools at the centre of the Trojan horse scandal were not faith schools, but the exposure of their failings raised major questions marks about how faith schools operate. What is alarming is that if the Birmingham schools had been designated faith schools, then many of the practices condemned, such as limiting the curriculum to exclude lessons about sex education and reinforcing a cultural identity to the exclusion of others, would have been permitted!

I would have this next paragraph used in schools to promote discussion:

There is a reason that some 93% of the planet’s top scientist reject the notion of a personal god. The real mystery is why the other 7% don’t. After all, science is based on evidence and there is no evidence that god exists. None. What we may feel in our hearts is not evidence and neither is the bible since the argument is circular. (The bible is true because it says it is. The Qur’an is true because that is what Qur’an says.)

Simply asking faith schools nicely to be more inclusive will not work. A secular (free from religious dogma) education, for all children, is the only way to heal the divisions caused by faith schools.

Whilst even that will take several generations to work, I submit that there is no other way for human societies to develop in peace.

Vote hungry, party politicians are going to remove religion from schools? Let us hope so!

God help us all 😉

… Congregation of the Sisters of Mercy, the Religious Sisters of Charity and the Sisters of the Good Shepherd say they will contribute nothing to Magdalene Laundry survivors’compensation.
The four orders of nuns that ran the notorious Magdalene Laundries in Ireland have said they have no intention of contributing anything towards the compensation fund set up by the Irish Government.
The Mercy Sisters, the Sisters of Our Lady of Charity, the Sisters of Charity and the Good Shepherd Sisters told the Minister for Justice Alan Shatter that they will leave it to the taxpayer to pick up thebill and will pay nothing towards the compensation fund which could total €58 million.

Butter wouldn’t melt …
They have said they will continue to look after elderly former residents who have not been able to find anywhere else to live — but that’s all.
The Government announced the scheme last month after Mr Justice Quirke had inquired into the options available to compensate the women who had been incarcerated in the laundries and used as forced labour.
The minimum payment was €11,500 for women who spent three months or less in a laundry and the maximum approved was €100,000 for those who were residents for 10 years or more.
It is estimated that about 600 women will be eligible for compensation and they will not have to prove that they were abused or suffered hardship.Mr Shatter said he had expected the four orders of nuns that had run the laundries on behalf of the state to contribute to the compensation, but didn’t specify what he expected them to pay.The scheme comes after years of campaigning by the survivors of the Magdalene Laundry system.
The Irish Premier Enda Kenny gave an emotional apology to the victims in the parliament earlier this year, saying nobody should have had to endure the cruelty and degradation that the women in these institutions did. The apology and compensation scheme was prompted by an investigation by former senator Martin McAleese into the Laundries, which operated for nearly a hundred years. The report condemned the state’s role in allowing the Magdalene Laundries to continue and the religious orders for their cruelty and oppression of the women who were admitted.
Chief Executive of Barnardos, Fergus Finlay, told the Irish Examiner that the Government should call the religious orders to account. “I think these religious orders have to be called in —if necessary, publicly — and they have to be told that the government and the people of Ireland expect them to make a contribution.”
Keith Porteous Wood, executive director of the National Secular Society commented: “We hope that campaigners will remind the Irish Government that the 18 orders involved in the Magdalene Laundries made €667m in property deals between 1999 and 2009.”

Recent Vatican announcements have been keen to stress the Pope’s solidarity with the poor and marginalised.

New Pope Francis to promote homosexuality

Please click to express yourself

A radical change for the Catholic Church.

The new Pope Francis, Cardinal Jorge Bergoglio, has made a number of surprising announcements that will take the Catholic Church in a very progressive and liberal direction. The ministry of the 266th pontiff, it appears, will be founded in reason and rationality.

Pope Francis
“Homosexulaity should be welcomed as a means to reduce the world’s population..”

In a significant break with the tradition of the Church Pope Francis will be addressing the crisis in global population expansion by promoting homosexuality throughout the world. “There are too many people in the world, for the available resources,” he said in his address. “So, by encouraging homosexuality less children will be born thus alleviating poverty and deprivation throughout the world.”

The other core points he brought up, which also raised eyebrows amongst the mostly conservative members of the flock were:

  • Although he was still against gay marriage, he stated that he was against marriage in all its forms. It was clear, he stated, from scripture that the institute of marriage came about as a way for men to legalise the oppression and slavery of women, and had no place in the modern world.
  • He has vowed to dismantle the financial privilege, excess and extravagance of the Vatican and the leaders of the Church by liquidating assets to the value of billions of dollars to pass over to the poor and vulnerable throughout the world.
  • For the first time in 2,000 years women will be welcomed into the Church on an equal status with the men and will be allowed to become clergy, and even Pope in the future.
  • He will be fundamentally changing the stance on contraception. The use of condoms will actively promoted in order to halt the transmission of HIV/AIDS and to avoid unwanted pregnancies. Where unwanted pregnancies do occur abortion will no longer be opposed as the souls of the unborn, he said, are innocent and so will go straight to heaven, and they should not be deprived of that opportunity.
  • As most people were able to look at the Bible and decide for themselves what in it was good or bad it must be the case that their morality was independent of the scriptures, the Pope declared. In the near future then the Bible would rewritten to contain stories of more relevance to the 21st Century.

Finally, in another upset to the established practice of thousands of years of Judeo-Christian religion he said there was no need any longer for the global congregation to pray or worship Jesus and God. The reason was that no supernatural supreme being would be so insecure that it required homage and adulation from the beings it created.

PS: If this all seems a little unlikely, then congratulations ! You unlike the Papacy, are on the way to a life based on reason and rationality!

Pope’s resignation. Shocked? Moi?

No I am not shocked, nor am I interested in the replacement of one old deluded man with another.

Pope Benedict announces his new commandment

However, what does shock me is the amount of fawning coverage given to this non-event by the BBC. They rolled out that mindless Cormack Murphy O’Connor to opinionate on the subject today. The radio and TV news has been deluged with pointless wittering about the last 700 years history of one of the foulest but politically able self serving organisations the world has ever seen.

Pope abandoning ship

Ratzinger has been in charge of the cover-up of pedophile priests for the last 30 years in his former role as “Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith” (formerly known as the Inquisition). That ridiculous title is just one example of the Roman Catholic church’s arrogant (self deluded perhaps?) marketing department.

He has humiliated his former butler who was convicted, by a Vatican court, for the non-crime of exposing the internal corruption of the Vatican Cardinals. The naive chap thought that the Pope was unaware of the political corruption! Poor deluded sod! His life has been ruined by a vindictive politician who is as close to Jesus’ teachings as is an arms dealer.

the brolly will keep the rain off but it won’t stop the corruption …”

‘Evil & corruption was everywhere’ says the Pope’s former butler, Paolo Gabriele .

This naive yet probably honest man actually thought that by exposing corruption and two faced underhand power struggles in the Vatican elite he was doing the Roman Catholic Church a favour – he even thought the Pope and Cardinals would be pleased!

Now it seems and for some strange reason, which I can fathom, it is the butler who faces prison and not the Pope!

It is clear to all but brainwashed catholics that the ‘faith of ages’ is the most monumental political power and tax free cash generating organisation ever conceived by the wit of man.

The mafia comes a close second but even there, some might suggest that they are two faces of the sames regime!

The lower orders are taken in while the ruling elite know better. Once again I trot out my usual suspects where this has been spotted before:-

Seneca (4 – 65 BCE) “Religion is regarded by the common people as true, by the wise as false, and by the rulers as useful.”

Napoleon Bonaparte (1769 – 1821)

  • “Religion is excellent stuff for keeping common people quiet.”
  • “Religion is what keeps the poor from murdering the rich.”
  • “All religions have been made by men.”

Heinrich Heine (1797 – 1856) “In dark ages people are best guided by religion, as in a pitch-black night a blind man is the best guide; he knows the roads and paths better than a man who can see. When daylight comes, however, it is foolish to use blind, old men as guides.”

Charles Dickens (1812-1870) “I believe the spreading of Catholicism to be the most horrible means of political and social degradation left in the world.”

Why do we keep forgetting the wisdom of these these men? 🙁

PS:- Do have a look here at the Pope welcoming Robert Mugabe to the Vatican last year – hee hee!

PPS: The Vatican had already warned of legal action against the author, Italian journalist Gianluigi Nuzzi, after he broadcast letters in January from the former No. 2 Vatican administrator to the pope in which he begged not to be transferred for having exposed alleged corruption that cost the Holy See millions of euros in higher contract prices. The prelate, Monsignor Carlo Maria Vigano, is now the Vatican’s US ambassador. (Ed: ROFL). 😉

Seneca (4 – 65 BCE) “Religion is regarded by the common people as true, by the wise as false, and by the rulers as useful.” ’nuff said!

I know we all love Queen Elizabeth and the wonderful quiet, dignified way she does her job and feel for her when some of her progeny and relations, have, in the past acted as adulterous, spoiled, brats, but ah bless, isn’t she doing a wonderful job?

The Queen defended the role of the Church of England in a speech at Lambeth Palace
The Queen defended the role of the Church of England in a speech at Lambeth Palace

Well actually, in one very important respect, no; I just have to make a contrarian point here about her “Defender of the Faith” role.

When, this morning, we read “Queen ‘should remain Defender of the Faith’ – a BBC poll suggests”, may I remind you why we have a Church of England at all and a monarch who has the title “Defender of the Faith”?

Henry VIII wanted a new bride and couldn’t divorce her because the Pope forbade it. Henry was a bit miffed at the leader of England’s, then main, religion, i.e. Roman Catholicism, and decided to remove Papal power from England there and then.

Henry VIII taking the tube ...
Henry VIII taking the tube …

This is the short version: Henry invented The Church of England, put himself in charge, made the monarchy sole appointer of the Arch Bishops of Cantebury (just to avoid annoying arguments from god’s appointed etc.) and made Roman Catholicism illegal. Now then – that’s what I call an action plan!

Therefore the Queen, as “Defender the Faith”, is supporting a fabricated religion based on the whims of a horny ancestor.

‘Almost 80% of people in England support a religious role for the Queen, a BBC poll suggests’.

Poppycock! A poll of 2,591 people! You might as well take a survey of a crowd in a football stadium and ask people to vote for their favourite pastime!

The BBC’s blatant support of faith is insulting to the intelligence to the point of being wilfully partisan and therefore, I say, in breach of its impartiality brief.

Beatification season – is Mugabe to be the next Catholic saint?

Please click to express yourself

I listened with sad incredulity this morning to the BBC Radio 4 program “Sunday”. At one point in the program there was a half hearted attempt to expose the current & previous Popes as the cynically self centered supporters of paedophile priests they undoubtedly are.

The program even invited Colm O’Gorman  in to support the side of the abused thousands, as he himself had been abused by a Catholic Priest, however, the two Catholic supporters in the studio attempted to explain away this unforgivable behaviour as an example of the previous pope’s humanity!  We all make mistakes if we are human don’t we  – ah bless! The program presenter then calmly moved on as if the words of Colm O’Gorman meant nothing. Ed Stourton – words fail me!

Colm had of course exposed the entire cover up process, for those who had ears to listen, for the puerile, inexplicable evil that the Roman Catholic Church continues to propagate.

The Roman Catholic church is simply the most successful political power base that the world has ever seen. Peter Mandelson and Alistair Campbell as the “dark lords” of british politics, intent on making that deluded burk Blair look good, were mere amateurs in comparison.

To me the only miracle I would like to see is the arrest of the current pope for the crime of covering decades of priestly paedophilia, for it is he who as “Prefect of the Sacred Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith” was in charge of the cover up. The newly beatified pope was his boss as he did that job! That 2nd miracle that the faithful are waiting for will magically appear within six months as some other hapless nun (one such ‘story’ has already been published but is now discredited) somewhere was cured of inoperable cancer after a smile from Pope Paul the pompous.

It would be difficult to make this all up – sadly I have not had to – yet still the crowds gathered in Rome to adore this tragic, sad and misguided little man; can nobody do anything? What will it take to bring this edifice of evil down.

It is simple to explain the Pope’s actions – “power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely”. Until very recently they both thought they are “obviously above civil law” – privately, of course, they still think they are, but have had to make a few minor nods to secular legal systems by paying over a few million pounds and dollars in compensation.

As to how to explain the behaviour of the worlds politicians and the gathering worshipping crowds as they support this facile organisation – I am at a loss; sad days indeed for humanity.

The icing on the cake for me was to read that one of the 22 “World Leaders” attending the Vatican’s celebrations was non other than that bastion of Roman Catholic love, peace, Christianity and tolerance – Robert Mugabe. I suspect the real reason for his visit was for his wife to do some proper shopping …

It would be difficult to make this up too, but unfortunately I have not had to …

One is left completely speechless.
