This is yet more madness delivered by visionless, asset stripping, incompetents (AKA the Tory party) …first OUR water, then OUR electricity grid, etc. etc. and now, our roads.
How can a private company doing the job be cheaper?
Let me think, … Ah yes …
- Cut wages costs & therefore quality?
- Cut materials costs & therefore quality?
- Keep public sector pension provision levels? HeHe, err … noooooo …
- Charge the users?
- YES – that’s the way to do it !!
There are NO OTHER WAYS to do it.
Like the forests and the NHS, privatising our roads was not in the Tory manifesto – so much for our shallow democracy.
SO, DON’T DO IT – YOU HAVE NO MANDATE ! You have no right to sell our assets.
The cupboard is now bear – the Tories, helped by Labour & the Lib Dems and have sold the lot to asset stripping non-doms who live in houses that don’t pay Stamp Duty.
They will be selling our air next … Oh, I see he’s already started …
